Personal Training

Weights

Personal Training is for anyone who is serious about getting tangible results for their efforts. Let’s face it, if you are willing to dedicate time and money to get fit then you want something to show for it. Taking a personal trainer can get you to your goals, and can save you time and money in the long run. What makes this possible is the focus on you as an individual and the optimizing of your sessions, to make sure that every second of your training is productive. I have seen it many times in fitness studios i.e. People attending 3 or 4 times a week, 2 hr sessions a time but they train really inefficiently. They wonder why they look exactly the same a year down the line! It’s frustrating for these people because they are giving a lot of their valuable time and clocking up a fortune on gym membership fees.

When I take on a client, I have the attitude that we are embarking on a project together, a common purpose. From the first consultation you are treated as a unique individual and with discretion and respect. We talk over your goals, time commitments and any questions you may have. When you have made the decision to go ahead with your training, your first session will be used to make assessments regarding such factors as:

  • Physiological loading (physiological stress levels)
  • Postural analysis (dynamic and static)
  • Flexibility
  • Inner & outer core function testing (back & abdominal musculature)
  • Core strength tests
  • Basic extremity strength tests
  • Body fat percentage
  • Blood pressure

Also you will be asked to complete a lifestyle questionnaire which will give me other valuable information on issues that could inhibit your chances of achieving your maximum potential. Such as:

  • Eating habits
  • Hydration
  • Sleep patterns
  • Stress management
  • Environmental stress exposure
  • Personal issues

All this information is collated and used to develop an optimal approach to your lifestyle and training. You will be given feedback and advice with regard to the results, and of course I am there to answer any questions you may have. We then embark on your training program.

Training sessions are typically one hour long and can be undertaken at the Innings Fitness Club in Rosenheimer Platz or home visits can be arranged. During our sessions everything is explained, why we are doing the exercise, the reason for the sequencing, rest periods, and of course the mastering of form is of paramount importance (another benefit of PT is exercising safely).

If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to ask via the contact page.
